Flavor Tripping

I found this article interesting, if for no other reason than the new term, "Flavor Tripping."

Apparently, a fruity berry native to West Africa known as Synsepalum dulcificum causes the taste buds to "reprogram" and interpret many tastes as sweeter than they would normally be.

Also, the intro picture to the article was delightfully creepy yet hilarious.
